What this form is not for
- Medical questions. We cannot answer them. Please ask your doctor.
- Requesting blood. Requests are made through your doctor, blood bank or pathologist.
- Registering as a donor. Use the registration form instead.
Please do not include medical details, test results or documents in your message. We do not need them, and we would rather not hold them.
Your privacy
We use your name and email address to answer you, and for nothing else. The message goes to the initiative’s enquiry queue; it is not published, and it is not added to the donor register. Full detail is in the Privacy Notice.
What happens next
A coordinator reads your message and replies, usually within a few working days. If your question turns out to be clinical, we will say so and point you back to your doctor rather than guess.
In a medical emergency
If you or someone with you needs blood urgently, contact your hospital or blood bank directly, or call your local emergency number. Rare Blood Connect is a volunteer register, not an emergency service: we cannot arrange urgent transfusions, we do not hold or deliver blood, and this site is not monitored around the clock. We coordinate — your doctor and your blood bank treat.
