People reach this site on old phones, on slow connections, and sometimes while very worried about someone. It should work for all of them.

What we aim for

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA. In practice that means the site can be used with a keyboard alone, works with a screen reader, has text that stays readable when enlarged, holds enough colour contrast to be legible in bright light, and reflows to a single column on a narrow phone.
